We have been observing for the past several days that they follow a systematic pattern of desecrating and damaging temples and deities. Especially at the time of this auspicious festival, we call upon the Bangladesh government to ensure the safety of Hindus and all minorities and their places of worship.
There have been 35 attacks during Durga Puja.
Let us tell you that about 35 unpleasant incidents have taken place during Durga Puja being celebrated on the occasion of Navratri in Bangladesh, India's neighboring country. The local police have arrested 17 miscreants involved in these incidents. Along with this, the police have also registered more than 12 cases.
Gold crown is stolen from the temple
Apart from this, a gold crown gifted by Prime Minister Modi was stolen from a temple in Bangladesh. Earlier, the crown of Kali Mata was stolen during Durga Puja from Jeshoreshwari Temple in Satkhira, Bangladesh. This crown was gifted to the temple by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Bangladesh in March 2021.
