IIT Delhi In UAE: IIT Delhi has opened its new international campus in Abu Dhabi. The campus is located in the capital of the United Arab Emirates and offers a great opportunity to study engineering. The move is part of the vision document launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in February 2022. Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed inaugurated the IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi campus on September 2 and welcomed 52 graduate students of the first batch. These students will pursue B.Tech degrees in Computer Science and Engineering and Energy Engineering.
Methods of B.Tech Admission in IIT Delhi In UAE
There are two main methods for admission to B.Tech courses at IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi Campus. The first method is the Combined Admission Test (CAET), which is specially designed for this campus. B.Tech Fees in IIT Delhi In UAE
The total fee for BTech at IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi Campus is 325,000 AED (United Arab Emirates Dirham). This amount in Indian currency is approximately Rs 7,42,8863. This fee is a significant investment internationally, but it is quite competitive compared to the standard IIT fees.
The MTech course started at IIT Delhi in the UAE
IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi launched its first Master of Technology (MTech) course in Energy Transition and Sustainability in January 2024. This course is specially designed for in-depth study and research in the field of energy and environment. This move further strengthens the quality of education on this campus and its reach globally.
