Hyderabad: With the help of wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson's first T20 International century, India defeated Bangladesh by 133 runs in the third and final T20 match on Saturday. With this victory, Team India achieved a clean sweep of 3-0 in the three-match T20 series. This is India's third biggest win in T20I cricket in terms of runs.
India won the toss and batted first and scored 297 runs for the loss of 6 wickets, which is their highest score in this format. In front of this huge target of India, the Bangladesh team could score only 164 runs for the loss of 7 wickets after playing the full 20 overs. For the visiting team, Md. Tauhid Hridoy scored the highest unbeaten 63 runs with the help of 5 fours and 3 sixes in 42 balls while Liton Das contributed 42 runs.
For the Indian team, Ravi Bishnoi took a maximum of 3 wickets while Mayank Yadav took 2 and Washington Sundar and Nitish Kumar Reddy took one wicket each.
