London: Russia Ukraine war updates: Vladimir Putin has deployed his most bizarre "turtle tanks" in the Ukraine war. These tanks are considered extremely dangerous. This tank has a shell like that of a fish. Turtle tanks are covered with steel plates and chain fringes. According to media reports, these turtle tanks have been seen in Donetsk Oblast of Ukraine.

Why did Putin deploy turtle tanks

According to The Sun report, Putin is believed to have lost almost all of his modern military equipment in the three-year-long Ukraine war. Therefore, Russia has had to deploy these old Tortoise tanks of the Soviet era on the battlefield.

The Tortoise tank, also known as the T-80, was originally inducted into Soviet military service in 1976 and has become a symbol of Russia's humiliating reliance on outdated military equipment. The armored tanks are also meant to protect KKyivfrom drones and anti-tank missiles.

Will Ukraine get its nuclear bombs back?

Several reports in the US also suggested that the US could return nuclear weapons to Ukraine that were taken away from it in the 1990s after the collapse of the Soviet Union. This could help Kyiv negotiate a ceasefire deal with Russia or dangerously escalate tensions.

President Biden's then-chief military adviser, General Mark A. Milley, suggested that neither Russia nor Ukraine could win the war. He argued that a negotiated solution was the only path to peace. But one fear during this agreement is that Russia may annex the areas of Ukraine that it has occupied.
