Railway news: There is great news for the passengers of Indian Railways. Now the chances of waiting tickets getting confirmed will increase because the railways are preparing for a big expansion. The government is going to add more than 1 thousand general class coaches to 370 regular trains. This step has been taken due to the constantly increasing number of passengers.

Big announcements

-Non-AC coaches of many trains have been increased
-About 600 general class coaches have been added in the last three months
-1000 coaches will be added by November
-About 1 lakh passengers will benefit from this

10 thousand cans in the next two years

Much new information has been given in the press release issued by the railways. The construction of non-air conditioned general class GS coaches for general class passengers is going on at a fast pace. In the next two years, more than 10 thousand coaches will be added to non-AC trains. Out of these, more than 6 thousand will be general second-class coaches. While, the rest will be sleeper class. This will enable 8 lakh additional passengers to travel in general class every day.

Central Railway also got a big benefit.

Central Railway will add 90 GS coaches in 42 trains. This will benefit more than 9 thousand passengers.

Relief on the waiting list

Railways is going to increase the number of sleeper coaches by about 4 thousand bogies. Obviously, this is expected to provide relief from the long waiting list for reservations.

What did the railway official say

Railway Board Executive Director Dilip Kumar has stated in this regard. He said that the Railways is working towards providing more facilities to passengers of all classes. The newly prepared non-AC coaches will be of LHB type. LHB coaches are lighter and stronger than traditional ICF coaches.
