New Delhi: Sunita Williams rescue mission: Sunita Williams has been stuck in the International Space Station amid uncertainty since June. Now there is hope for her return home. The SpaceX capsule sent from Earth to bring Sunita Williams back has reached space. The capsule has successfully docked with the International Space Station, which is 426 kilometers above Earth. SpaceX launched a rescue mission (SpaceX Crew 9) on Saturday, which will bring two astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams back to Earth.

NASA has also released a video of the space capsule reaching the space station. It can be seen that all the astronauts including Sunita and Butch are looking very happy. Everyone is welcoming the space capsule. Let us tell you that two astronauts of NASA have also gone in SpaceX's Draggle capsule, Nick Hague and Alexander Gorbunov are on board. When will Sunita come back?
Sunita Williams can return to Earth by February 2025. She went to ISS on June 5, 2024, in the Starliner spacecraft. She returned to Earth within a week. But helium leaked in her spacecraft and its thruster failed. NASA made several attempts to repair the spacecraft but all failed. Therefore, Sunita has been stuck on the space station for the last four months. Let us tell you that Sunita Williams' ancestors were from Jhulasan village of Mehsana in Gujarat.
