India had a target of 147 runs to win in the second innings. But the Indian team collapsed for 121 runs in front of the deadly bowling of Kiwi spinner Ajaz Patel (six wickets). The Australian team has topped the World Test Championship points table.
With this defeat, the Indian team has reached the second position with a win percentage of 58.33, while the Australian team is at the top with a win percentage of 62.50.
The New Zealand team has also jumped in the points table and has reached the fourth position with a win percentage of 54.55. The Sri Lankan team is at third and South Africa's team is at fifth position. Sri Lanka's win percentage is 55.56 and South Africa's win percentage is 54.17.
Talking about the match, the New Zealand cricket team defeated India by 25 runs in the third and final test match played in Mumbai. With this victory, New Zealand whitewashed India 3-0 in the three-match test series. New Zealand won the first test by 8 wickets and the second match by 112 runs. This is the first time that New Zealand has whitewashed a team abroad.

Rishabh Pant was the only batsman for the Indian team who faced the Kiwi bowlers bravely. He scored the highest 64 runs with the help of 9 fours and a six in 57 balls. Pant also scored a half-century in the first innings.
For New Zealand, Ejaz Patel took six wickets in the second innings. He had also taken five wickets in the first innings and took a total of 11 wickets in the match. Apart from him, Glenn Phillips took three wickets and Matt Henry took one wicket.
Earlier, in the second innings for the Kiwi team, Will Young scored 51, Glenn Phillips scored 26, Devon Conway scored 22 and Daryl Mitchell scored 21 runs. For India, Ravindra Jadeja took five wickets while Ravichandran Ashwin took three wickets.
