Israel Hezbollah Ceasefire News: The Israeli security cabinet has voted in favor of a ceasefire agreement to end the ongoing war with the militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave three main reasons for the ceasefire agreement in a statement on Tuesday.

An Israeli official, while giving information to the media quoting PM Netanyahu, said that he has given three main reasons for agreeing on the ceasefire, due to which he wants a ceasefire now. Netanyahu said, 'With full understanding with America, we maintain complete freedom of military action. If Hezbollah violates the agreement and tries to arm itself, we will attack.'

Israel's condition regarding the agreement

He said, 'If he tries to rebuild terrorist infrastructure near the border, he will be attacked. Not only this, if he launches a rocket or digs a tunnel or brings a truck carrying rockets, he will be attacked.'

PM Netanyahu gave three reasons.

PM Benjamin Netanyahu cited three reasons and said, 'The first reason is that they want to focus on the Iranian threat. The second reason is that Israeli soldiers need to rest and replenish their weapons and ammunition supplies. There have been massive delays in the delivery of weapons and ammunition, but this problem will be solved soon.'

Hamas is left alone

He said, 'They will get supplies of advanced weapons, which will keep our soldiers safe and give them more power to accomplish their mission. The third reason for the ceasefire is that they want to isolate Hamas. Hezbollah was dependent on Hamas for the war, but now with Hezbollah out, Hamas is left alone. Which will now help in getting the Israeli hostages released.'

Then Israel will start attacking again.

The statement of the Israeli Prime Minister has been issued at a time when an Israeli official told CNN that the Security Cabinet has approved the ceasefire agreement. Netanyahu also said that the duration of the ceasefire will depend on Lebanon. He said, 'If Hezbollah violates the agreement by re-arming, digging tunnels, firing rockets,s or rebuilding its infrastructure near the Israeli border, then Israel will start attacks again.'
