Tulsi Gabbard does not have any special experience in the intelligence department, but Tulsi Gabbard has served in the US Army National Guard for more than two decades. She was deployed in Iraq and Kuwait.

Tulsi represented the Democratic Party and served as a member of Congress for Hawaii's 2nd District from 2013 to 2021. She also served on the House Homeland Security Committee for two years.

How did she become a Hindu?

Tulsi Gabbard, often mistaken for an Indian because of her first name, has no connection to India. Gabbard's mother converted to Hinduism and gave all her children Hindu names. Tulsi Gabbard also considers herself a Hindu and was the first Hindu US Congress member. Tulsi took the oath of office with her hand on the Bhagavad Gita.

Tulsi was previously in the Democratic Party. In 2020, Gabbard claimed for the Democratic presidential nomination against Kamala Harris. She later dropped out of the race and eventually left the party in 2022. After joining the Republican Party in 2022, Gabbard supported Donald Trump for president and helped him prepare for the debate against Kamala Harris.
