Iran Hijab law: For a long time, incidents of protest against the country's Hijab Laws have been coming to the fore in Iran. Now Iran has decided to crush this protest of women. Iran will now consider women opposing hijab as mentally ill and will provide them with psychiatric treatment. For this, Iran has planned to open clinics across the country.

Mehri Talebi Darestani, head of the Women and Family Department at the Tehran headquarters, told Iranian media that Iran will soon open a chain of "hijab removal treatment clinics." Visiting the clinics is optional, Talebi said, especially for the teenage generation, young adults, and women seeking social and Islamic identity, according to Iran International.

Claims of scientific treatment

The name of these clinics will be Hijab Removal Treatment Clinic. Iran claims that in this clinic, all women who oppose the country's hijab law will be treated for psychiatric problems scientifically.

What is hijab law

Iran's national hijab law requires women to cover their heads with a hijab in public places. Iran has seen large-scale protests in recent years, including the 2022-2023 Mahsa Amini protests, where women have demanded an end to moral policing. Women allege that security forces often attack them for not wearing a hijab.

Let us tell you that the Department of Women and Family works under the direct authority of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. This organization is tasked with defining and enforcing strict religious rules across Iran, especially the rules governing women's clothing.
