Tickets are not available on trains to go back from Bihar. People are traveling in general class. Due to this, there is a huge crowd of people in the general class. To avoid the crowd on the train, people are resorting to buses. The fare of buses going from Bihar to other states is skyrocketing. It is being told that the fare of Rs 2800 to Rs 3000 is being charged in private buses from Patna to Lucknow. Some people are planning to return after four to five days to avoid the crowd.
Railways prepared for special trains.
Here, keeping in view the crowd, the railway has made special arrangements. East Central Railway claims that special trains are being run from various railway stations. Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway Saraswati Chandra said that 446 long-distance special trains are being run from various stations of East Central Railway between November 8 and November 22. On Friday, 35 special trains ran from Barauni, Darbhanga, Danapur, Gaya, Jayanagar, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Raxaul, Saharsa, Samastipur, and other stations to various stations of the country. He claimed that crowd management arrangements have been made at all important stations. Security is also being monitored. Home guards have been deployed at various stations in coordination with the state government.
