Baba Siddique Murder Case: Maharashtra Police have made several arrests so far in the NCP leader Baba Siddique murder case, and further investigation is underway. Mumbai Police said on Friday that not three but four guns were used in the murder of Baba Siddique. The NCP leader was shot dead earlier this month, sending shock waves across the country. To trace the supply of guns through drones, Mumbai Police has now sent the pictures of the weapons to Rajasthan Police as well. Let us tell you that Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddiqui was shot dead on 12 October near the office of his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui in Nirmal Nagar, Bandra East. Jailed gangster Lawrence BBishnoi'sgang took responsibility for this murder. So far 14 people have been arrested in this case, while three are absconding.
The attackers were associated with Lawrence Bishnoi
.According to the police, Haryana resident Gurmel Baljit Singh and Uttar Pradesh native Dharamraj Kashyap along with wanted accused Shivkumar Gautam shot Baba Siddiqui, while Pune-based Praveen Lonkar's brother Shubham is allegedly associated with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He and other wanted accused had conspired to carry out the attack and supplied weapons to the shooters. The three shooters threw chili powder at the police officer guarding Siddiqui before killing him.
The scrap dealer gave the money.
According to the police, Harish Kumar Nishad, a scrap dealer from Pune, helped finance the operation. The main shooter Shivkumar Gautam along with the main aaccusedsShubham Lonkar and Mohammed Zeeshan Akhtar are currently absconding. Police sources told NDTV that the main accused Zeeshan Akhtar was in touch with all the other accused and had promised them a hefty sum of money and a foreign trip upon completion of the job.
