UP MBBS Student Death: An MBBS student died in a private medical college in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The student has been identified as Kushagra Pratap Singh, whose body was found soaked in blood outside the hostel room early in the morning. Officials are investigating whether the case is a suicide or there is a conspiracy involved.

Kushagra, a resident of Gorakhpur, was studying in a private medical college located near Bareilly Road. Superintendent of Police Rajesh Yash said, 'We received information about the body of a second-year student being found in the medical college. On inspection, it was observed that the student's room was on the ground floor, and no one else was present there. It appears that the student either died after falling from the third floor or someone pushed him. We are investigating whether it was a case of suicide or murder.'

Interrogation of the remaining students is ongoing

The officers have sealed the room where Kushagra was staying and are questioning fellow students as part of their investigation. The police have also started reviewing CCTV footage of the area and speaking to local residents to gather more information.

Other students of the medical college are shocked to find Kushagra's body. One student said, "It is horrific. We don't know what happened, but it is very disturbing to think that something like this can happen here." Police said Kushagra's family in Gorakhpur has been informed about the incident and his body has been sent for postmortem. SP Yash said, "We are trying our best to get to the bottom of this."
