Congratulating Hemant Soren on the election results of Jharkhand, PM Modi wrote in an X post, 'I thank the people of Jharkhand for their support towards us. We will always be at the forefront of raising people's issues and working for the state. I also congratulate the JMM-led alliance for their performance in the state.' It is worth noting that votes were cast in one phase on November 20 for all 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra. In the Mahayuti alliance in the state, the Bharatiya Janata Party contested on 149 seats, while Shiv Sena (Shinde) fielded candidates on 81 seats and Ajit Pawar's NCP on 59 seats. In the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA), Congress fielded candidates on 101 seats, Shiv Sena (UBT) on 95, and NCP (SP) on 86 seats.

The results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections are being announced on Saturday. Meanwhile, in the trends, the Mahayuti alliance comprising BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde), and NCP (Ajit Pawar) is moving towards a landslide victory. The Mahayuti is leading in more than 200 seats. On this, the first reaction of Shiv Sena chief and Chief Minister Eknath Shinde came. He congratulated the people of Maharashtra and the workers of the Mahayuti for these results. Targeting the opposition, CM Shinde said that we have answered them by working here for two and a half years. Therefore, we have got a landslide victory.
