Elections for the post of Mayor and Deputy Mayor are going to be held in Delhi on Thursday (14 November). Earlier these elections were to be held in the month of April but due to many reasons, the election date was postponed. Regarding this, orders were given to conduct the elections of Mayor and Deputy Mayor on 4 November. AAP and BJP are trying their best to win these elections.

Delhi councillor Satya Sharma has been given the responsibility of presiding over the elections to be held at the Civic Centre in Delhi on Thursday. The elections will be held today at 2 pm. Gautam Puri councillor Satya Sharma has been chosen as the presiding officer. The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has taken this decision using his powers under Section 77(A) of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957.
