Baba Siddique Murder Case: Mumbai Police is continuously investigating the murder case of Baba Siddique. So far 10 people have been arrested in the case. Meanwhile, a statement from Siddiqui's son and Congress MLA Zeeshan Siddique has come out. Zeeshan challenged his father's killers and said that the fight was, not over yet. He has also shared an emotional post on Instagram regarding this.
Zeeshan Siddiqui wrote, 'They silenced my father, but they forgot - he was a lion - and I carry his roar within me, his fight in my veins. He stood up for justice, fought for change and faced the storms with unwavering courage. Now, to those who set their sights on me, believing they had won, I declare to them. The blood of a lion runs in my veins.'
We need justice, not politicization.
He said, 'I am still here, fearless and unwavering. They took one, but I stand in his place. This fight is not over yet. Today, I stand where he stood. Alive, relentless, and ready. My father lost his life protecting the lives and homes of poor innocent people. Today, my family is shattered but his death should not be politicized and certainly should not go in vain. I want justice, my family wants justice.'
Baba Siddiqui was shot dead by three assailants outside his office in Mumbai. Two of the three shooters have been arrested. Zeeshan Siddiqui was also on the target of the attackers. Meanwhile, the police arrested five people last week for providing equipment to the killers. They were identified as Nitin Gautam Sapre (32), Sambhaji Kisan Pardhi (44), Pradeep Dattu Thombre (37), Chetan Dilip Pardhi and Ram Phoolchand Kanaujia (43).
